The Film Society in New Zealand

2016 marks 70 Years of the Film Society movement in New Zealand.

This Wiki was establised to bring together the history of its origins and achievements. As more resources are discovered it is continually being expanded to reflect the early years. Come back often and explore the various links to get a feel of those early days.

Much of the material was collected from other sources, principally from monthly bulletins issued to members. Though it is Wiki etiquette not to name contributors, the source and author of material copied has been acknowledged.
